Elizabeth Fry, the Quaker prison reformer, visited Rye during a tour of Sussex and was invited to address the congregation in the Meeting House, which is now our galleried breakfast room. We named this room after her, as we believe it to be the one in which she stayed. The room has an antique four-poster bed, a bath en-suite, comfortable chairs, television and a hospitality tray.
